LETHBRIDGE, Alberta — The Spokane Chiefs picked up a point, but lost their third straight game on their six-game Eastern Conference road trip, losing 3-2 in overtime to the Lethbridge Hurricanes in Western Hockey League play Tuesday night before 2,743 at the Enmax Centre.

Berkly Catton scored twice for the Chiefs, including his 26th of the season with 4:45 left in the third period to force overtime.

But he took a high sticking penalty in the opening minute of OT, and Lethbridge won it on its second power-play goal of the night, 2:19 into the extra period on a slap shot from the right circle by Noah Chadwick.

The Hurricanes were 2 for 3 on the power play, the Chiefs 0-2.

Lethbridge took a 2-0 lead in the second period on goals 2:07 apart. Catton answered to pull the Chiefs within 2-1 after two, extending his points streak to 13 straight games.

Chase Bertholet and Conner Roulette each had assists, giving them points in eight straight games.

Spokane plays at Red Deer tonight at 6 PST.
