Labor market webinars begin Tuesday

The Idaho Department of Labor's 2024 labor market webinar series begins Tuesday.

The 10 a.m. PST webinar will include Idaho Labor research supervisor Craig Shaul's overview of Labor’s Economic Outlook and Revenue Assessment Committee. Afterward, labor economist for southwestern Idaho Jan Roeser will discuss Idaho's results from the American Community Survey, an annual demographics survey that provides information about America's changing population, housing and workforce. It is conducted by the U.S. Census Bureau.

March 12 — An overview of Idaho’s long-term industry and employment projections

April 9 — Idaho start-ups and new businesses

May 14 — Navigating the world of unemployment insurance

June through November topics and schedules will be released later this year. All topics are subject to change.
