Martin, a 170-pound junior, won the state 5A title with a 3-2 decision over Nampa’s Jonathan Seamons on Saturday at the ICCU Dome in Pocatello. Martin had lost twice during the regular season to Seamons. “Seth knew going in that it would be a tough match and most likely close,” Post Falls coach Pete Reardon said. “There was an error in a call made in the third period that would have given the win to his opponent, 4-3. Fortunately, the ref’s fixed the error, making the score 3-2 in Seth’s favor and the last 20 seconds of the match were re-wrestled. It was great to see his hard work and focus during his training paid off in the final match.”
