Colvin, a 5-foot-8 senior point guard, had 25 points, five assists and four rebounds in the Vikings’ 58-49 win over Lake City in the state 5A girls basketball championship game on Saturday at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa. Colvin also had 30 points and eight rebounds in Friday’s 58-55 semifinal win over Boise. “Teagan’s knowledge of the game and her ability to control the pace of the game helps us so much,” Coeur d’Alene coach Nicole Symons said. “She is a great on ball, off ball defender and rebounder. And of course she can score. Teagan can take you off the dribble, shoot deep, or hit a mid-range, which makes her incredibly difficult to guard.”
