Traffic stop yields pot, mushrooms

COEUR d'ALENE — A California man was arrested for trafficking marijuana and possession of a controlled substance following a traffic stop by Kootenai County Sheriff's deputies this morning.

Mackenzie A. Ivers, 39, Willits, Calif., was taken into custody after a deputy found about 12 pounds of marijuana and 20.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms inside the vehicle he was driving near Interstate 90 and Northwest Boulevard, according to a KCSO press release.

Ivers had a non-extraditable warrant out of Jacksonville, Ill.
