Lovett, a redshirt junior from Post Falls High, is the NCAA’s top ranked wrestler at 149 pounds, picking up three wins via pin last week against Purdue, Northwestern and Wisconsin to improve to 19-0 on the season. Nebraska hosts Michigan on Friday at 4 p.m. Pacific (BTN).

Walla Walla women’s basketball

Lovett, a sophomore from Post Falls High, had 30 points, six rebounds, five steals and four assists for the Warriors (15-6, 7-1 NWAC) in a 77-58 win over the Community College of Spokane on Jan. 31 in Walla Walla, Wash. Lovett is averaging 12 points per game and has started all 21 of the Warriors’ games, also averaging 5.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game.
