RESPONSE: To Atlas and Mr. Berns

Thank you for the clarification on the Atlas Brown field site. I attended the same workshops and handed on the collective vision to the council as part of Planning and Zoning at that time. The workshops could have been shortened considerably if the citizens were given the trade-offs of park, beach and dog park for million dollar tax shelters.

Urban renewal funded by all taxpayers should not single out only the top 2% for service. The beach access was long overdue and should never have been the unstated quid pro quo here. My case is a URD should serve all not just the select few. I hope ignite cda steps up to address real workers if any future URDs past the Hospital District are fronted.
