| February 6, 2024 1:00 AM

Tammy Standridge Sauer, 61, of Pinehurst, Idaho, left us peacefully in her sleep Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024. Tammy was born in Kellogg, Idaho, on Aug. 18, 1962, to Jim and Nancy (Worsfold) Standridge.

Tammy attended Coeur d’Alene High School and later NIC, where she received her CNA certification. In her teen years and young adult life, Tammy worked as a server in restaurants in Coeur d’Alene, Spokane and Seattle. She also worked for several years as a cashier at Safeway in Coeur d’Alene.

Tammy was a kind, creative and caring person. She loved her nephews and played make-believe with them where she was “Princess Tamalian.” She also had a feisty side and was a fierce protector of her younger sister when they were growing up.

Tammy will be missed deeply by those she left here on earth including her parents, Jim and Nancy Standridge; sisters and brothers-in-law Liz and Kim Cooper and Shelly and Scott Romine; nephews Scott and Brandon (Cheryl) Alleman, Mike and Cody Cooper and Jeremy Romine; and great nephew Takoda Alleman.
