DIVIDED COUNTRY: Policy predictions

It’s a new year so let’s start out with old thoughts. I wrote about this a few years back but some dreams never change. Let’s envision we really could divide our nation in half, north to south, with a 40-foot wall separating Republicans from Democrats. Democrats take their pick, east or west, with only one rule — you cannot cross back. You elect your own president, Congress, recruit your own military, etc. I predict Democrats will elect Biden/Harris and Republicans will elect Trump and anyone but Mike Pence for VP — oops, he’ll be on the Democrat side anyway.

My policy predictions:

Democrats will open all borders. Their December record of 300,000 illegals will be a drop in the bucket. Republicans will welcome only legal, vetted immigrants. 

Next, climate change. Democrats will go “greener,” hundreds of thousands of acres into solar panels/wind-turbines, charging stations on every corner. Heavenly bliss. Republicans embrace “Drill, baby drill” and common sense, finally.

Democrats abolish law enforcement, because everyone will have free stuff, no need to steal anything or work for it. Heavenly bliss. Republicans will support and be thankful for law enforcement. 

Now just imagine, no more Clintons, Obamas, Bidens, etc., looking us in the eye and lying to us. They really do deserve each other. They say good riddance to that hate-filled Trump and all of his deplorable, gun lovin’, Bible thumpin’ rejects. Heavenly bliss.

I can only touch on policy differences but just fantasizing that Democrats would have to live with/pay for their decisions is soooo exhilarating.

P.S. Remember, no crossing over (or tunneling out). I know Democrats will get Lebron. Whoopie, Liz Cheney, all Rinos. Heavenly bliss.
