Kellogg man jailed after explosive device destroys property

A Kellogg man has been arrested after property was damaged by an explosive device in Kellogg.

Tristan Jay Baker, 18, was arrested and booked Monday by Kellogg Police on charges related to the use of destructive device/bomb and misdemeanor malicious injury to property.

"Basically, somebody put fireworks in a mailbox," Chief Paul Twidt said.

The damage was confined to the mailbox.

"It was quite an explosion," Twidt said.
