Terry Steensen, 61

Terry Steensen, loving husband to Lora Steensen and wonderful father to Ronnie Steensen, Shandell Wright and Daniell Berger, peacefully passed away Nov. 21, 2024. 

Terry was born Oct. 27, 1963, in Shelton, Wash. He lived in the Seattle area into his early 20s until he met the love of his life and moved to North Idaho. 

He is preceded in death by his father, Gordon Steensen, and mother Thelma Steensen, as well as numerous brothers and sisters. He leaves behind brother Larry Dillenburg and sisters Sherry Webb and Bobbie Smith. Terry had seven grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws he adored.

Terry was a drummer for many years. He loved to play music and played in many bands over the years, where he made many friends. He cherished all those memories. Terry loved the outdoors! He liked fishing and taking drives on back roads. He loved camping and being with family and friends. Terry will be loved and missed by all those who knew him.

Rest in peace, my sweet husband!

There will be a celebration of life for Terry on Jan. 18, 2025, at the American Legion in Athol, Idaho, at 1 p.m.
