Connie L. King, 77

Connie L. King, 77 years old, of Athol, Idaho, went to heaven Dec. 10, 2024, at Kootenai Health.

Connie was born and grew up in Canton, Ohio, where she met her husband, Kenneth King, and they were married in August 1965. Connie was an avid reader, especially enjoying historical novels. She loved going on trips to the Washington coast with her husband and to Packwood, Wash., for the market. She worked for many years as a seamstress and a merchandiser for greeting cards. Connie worked as a volunteer at Kootenai Health, also with Mended Hearts there, and was a longtime member of the TOPS club.

She will be missed dearly, as she was a kind and loving person who enjoyed helping others. She was known to pass out flag pins to every veteran she met. She was a true, beautiful wife and mother.

Connie is survived by her husband, Ken, and her daughter, Stephanie King. She has three granddaughters and one great-granddaughter. She is also survived by her dear sister, Linda Miller, and her family in Virginia.
