HARRISON FLATS — Freshman Brooklyn Charles scored 20 points for Kootenai in a 41-12 win over the St. Maries Lumberjacks JV at Kootenai High on Monday.

"I am so impressed with the girls," Kootenai coach Alyssa Liermann said. "This was the best they've played all year when it comes to working together. They passed better, they hustled more and they played their most aggressive offense and defense yet. Every player played their part this game and that's what it takes to win a game."

Freshman Sadie Rose Davidson scored eight points for Kootenai (1-5), which travels to Clark Fork on Thursday.

Paige Reid and Claire McMannis scored five points each for the St. Maries JV.
