BLANKETS: Thanks to those who donated

As a longtime, former staff member of Tesh, I was very interested in the story in the paper about blanket donations. I think that you could not find a more deserving agency than Family Promise to give them to and it was wonderful seeing some of the people that I miss from my time there.

However, there is a piece of information missing from the article. These blankets given to Family Promise were actually donated many years ago to Tesh by staff, including me, the 3C’s and client families. Tesh was a shelter in place site and needed 100 blankets to ensure that, in the event of a disaster, there would be enough blankets to keep Tesh’s 100 clients and staff warm and safe for three days.

I think it is important to see the entire picture and say thank you to the deserving folks that donated these blankets so many years ago as well as to Tesh for passing them on. Thank you!
