Coeur d'Alene's Quinn named among Most Powerful Women of 2024
COEUR d’ALENE — Kay Quinn is proving to be a force in the business world.
Quinn, the director of operations at Ziply Fiber, was among the honorees for Cablefax’s Most Powerful Women of 2024.
The tech-focused Cablefax publication “celebrates the Most Powerful Women for their influence and leadership within the industry,” according to the company website.
Serving as director of operations since May 2020, Quinn “has guided the deployment of fiber in new markets across three states, and they were executed effortlessly thanks to her plan to establish cross-functional teams,” according to Cablefax.
Ziply Fiber, a Washington-based internet service provider, has grown to service Oregon, Montana and Idaho — including Kootenai County.
Quinn said she was both surprised and honored to receive recognition from the national publication.
“I didn’t know I had been nominated,” Quinn told The Press. “It was a huge validation of my career, the work that I do and the responsibility that I take.”
Quinn’s focus on empowering women is another reason she’s recognized as a leader in the industry.
“Women need to trust in their instincts and not try to reshape themselves to fit others,” Quinn told Cablefax. “Women are smart, dynamic individuals, who have much to offer the workplace today.”
