Boise State’s 2025 Mountain West football opponents announced

BOISE -- Boise State will host Colorado State, Fresno State, New Mexico and UNLV during its 2025 Mountain West schedule as the conference announced on Tuesday the football matchups for next season.

The Broncos, who have won the Mountain West title in each of the last two seasons and four times in the last eight years, will face three of the top four teams in the conference standings this season at Albertsons Stadium in 2025.

Meanwhile, the eight-game Mountain West slate for the Broncos will also feature road games against Air Force, Nevada, San Diego State and Utah State.

All 12 Mountain West teams will play eight conference games next year, including four home games and four road contests.

The Broncos have not hosted Fresno State or Colorado State since 2022 while next year’s matchup against UNLV will be the first regular season home game against the Rebels at Albertsons Stadium since 2016. The Broncos defeated UNLV in the Mountain West Championship at home last Friday.

The dates for conference games will be announced on a future date.

The Broncos are already scheduled to play USF (Aug. 30, Tampa, Fla.), Eastern Washington (Sept. 6, Albertsons Stadium), App State (Sept. 27, Albertsons Stadium) and Notre Dame (Oct. 4, South Bend, Ind.) in nonconference action next season.

Boise State, the No. 3 seed in the College Football Playoff, will return to action on Dec. 31 when the Broncos take on the winner of the Penn State-SMU game in the Fiesta Bowl in Glendale, Ariz. The quarterfinal matchup will kick off at 4:30 pm PST on ESPN.
