Patricia Lozano, 76

On Nov. 29, Patricia went home to the Lord after a hard 19-month fight with cancer. 

Born and raised in Chicago, Ill., Pat received her bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois, Champaign Urbana, where she majored in languages. After college, Pat worked for the Social Security Administration in Chicago and later in San Francisco. 

In the late '80s, Pat relocated to Coeur d'Alene to be close to her mother and stepfather, Edna and Rupert Larson. She then embarked on a career in real estate, which she loved and was quite successful in. She often said she did not have clients, just friends she helped with their real estate transactions. Pat loved to travel and work in her garden. 

Pat is survived by her husband, Ken Gavan, and her three stepsons, Ryan (Angela) of Los Angeles, Calif.; Sean of Coeur d'Alene; Brendan (Kayla) of Rathdrum; and twin grandsons, Liam and Flynn. 

Per her request, there will be no service. 

There may be a celebration of life at a later date. Donations to safe passage in Patricia's name would be greatly appreciated. Bell Tower Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
