Chamber nominees announced
The Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber announced the nominees for its 112th annual Awards Celebration that highlights the contributions of businesses, organizations and individuals in North Idaho.
The event is scheduled from 3 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday at The Coeur d'Alene Resort.
“We are excited to spotlight such an incredible group of nominees who represent the best of Coeur d'Alene,” said Linda Coppess, president and CEO of the Coeur d'Alene Regional Chamber. “This year’s celebration will be particularly special as we debut the Spirit of Coeur d'Alene Award, an acknowledgment of the remarkable individuals who truly embody the heart of our community.”
The nominees are:
Nonprofit of the Year: Charity Reimagined; Girl Scouts of North Idaho and Eastern Washington; Safe Passage; Safe Start; St Vincent de Paul North Idaho.
Large Business of the Year: Avista, Hagadone Hospitality; Idaho Central Credit Union; Silverwood Theme Park; StanCraft Construction; STCU.
Small Business of the Year: Berkshire Hathaway; Hayden Furniture Depot; Mountain Madness Soap; Parkwood Business Properties.
Committee of the Year: Education Committee; Leadership Committee; Idaho Legislative Tour Planning Committee; Natural Resources Committee.

The Chamber also introduced the Spirit of Coeur d'Alene Award this year, a special recognition for individuals "whose profound compassion and unwavering dedication have left a lasting impact on our community. Unlike traditional lifetime achievement awards, this honor celebrates those whose inspiring leadership and heartfelt commitment exemplify the true essence of Coeur d'Alene."
The event includes music, appetizers and a no-host bar.
