Post Falls ‘micro hospital’ opens for 24-hour care

POST FALLS — Post Falls ER and Hospital has opened on Beck Road in Post Falls. 

The new facility is focused on 24/7 concierge health care and is one of 22 “micro hospitals” in 10 states owned by Nutex Health, which is based in Houston, Texas. 

The micro hospital has a 25,000-square-foot facility and houses 12 ER beds, five inpatient beds, a procedure room, in-house laboratory services, an in-house pharmacy and an imaging suite. 

Co-chief medical officer Robert Seeley said he hopes the innovative new health care model will be an asset to the community. 

“We believe the concierge model with minimal wait times will resonate well with our future patients and families,” Seeley said.
