POST FALLS — C.A.S.T. For Kids Coeur d'Alene is looking for volunteers to help both on shore and on the water this Sunday at Q'Emiln Park.

The organization is asking for "experienced boaters with a boat" to work on the Spokane River with one child, plus their parent or guardian, on proper fishing techniques to help participants land their first catch.

Volunteers are also needed on shore to help with setup and other roles. Volunteers need to pre-register and should plan to arrive at the park by 7 a.m.

The C.A.S.T. For Kids Foundation works to "enrich the lives of children with special needs, supporting their families and strengthening communities through the sport of fishing."
