LOCAL WATCH: Swider scores twice in Gonzaga home victory

Gonzaga 2, Incarnate Word 0: At Spokane, Chris Swider, a senior from Coeur d’Alene High, scored twice for the Bulldogs (3-0) in a nonconference win over the Cardinals (0-2-1) at Luger Field.

Eastern Washington 1, Southern Utah 1: At Cedar City, Utah, Chloe Patterson scored in the 17th minute for the Eagles (2-1-1) in a draw with the Thunderbirds (0-3-1).

No. 6 Arkansas 4, Gonzaga 0: At Fayetteville, Ark., Kate Doyle scored twice for the Razorbacks (3-0-1) in a win over the Bulldogs (1-2-1) in the first meeting between the schools.

Idaho 2, Indiana-Indianapolis: At Moscow, Hannah Alfaro-Black and Margo Schoesler scored for the Vandals (3-2) in a win over the Jaguars (0-3-1) at the Kibbie Dome.
