Vikings win at JV tourney: Dylan Cook of Coeur d'Alene was boys medalist and Viking Aniston Ewing was girls medalist at a junior varsity tournament Monday at the Moscow Elks Lodge Golf Club.

Coeur d'Alene won the boys and girls team titles.

A few varsity players competed at the JV tourney as well.

On Friday, Aug. 23, the Sting lost 8-1 to the Washington East Surf Soccer Club. The Sting Black goal was scored by Eli Hocking. Saturday afternoon, the Sting beat BVBIA CDA 6-1. Sting Black goals were scored by Peter Ward, Eli Hocking and Oliver Lundy). On Sunday afternoon, the Sting fell 3-1 to the Kittitas Valley Junior Soccer Association, despite several excellent saves by Sting goalie Leo Leferink. The Sting Black goal was scored by Jackson Martin.
