PREP CROSS COUNTRY: Anderson, Misner win at Post Falls River Run

POST FALLS — Lake City senior Logan Anderson was the top finisher in the 2-mile Post Falls River Run on Saturday as area schools opened the cross country season at Kiwanis Park.
Anderson won the boys senior race in 10 minutes, 39.2 seconds, followed by Brayden Lamanna of Priest River in 11:02.8.
Post Falls senior Kaylynn Misner won the girls junior/senior race in 12:23.2, followed by Lake City senior Hazel Kunkel in 12:29.2.
Sandpoint High’s Paul Kent won the junior race and, Kai Budensiek won the freshman race for Sandpoint.
No team scores were kept.
