LIBRARIES: Fake fiscal conservative ideology

Lynn Fleming’s Aug. 16 LTE exposes the CLN trustee board majority as disingenuous and underhanded. She rightly points out that with the growing demand for this needed SOCIAL service, there should be a more robust and vibrant and responsive public library system that can handle the increase. However, due to the fake “fiscal conservative” ideology behind the actions of the 3 amigos, the CLN is headed to the dumper. Why?

Because this is the original intent of the amigos. They are simply using the ‘Save the Kids’ narrative to destroy the CLN.

How do I know? Actions speak louder than words.

KCRCC is Libertarian dominated and practices libertarian philosophy.

Thus, the KCRCC is not interested in the kiddies, nor morality.

Where does the public now get their information? Amazon of course! Or any other online service that sells you books for exorbitant prices.  

However, this is not the worst part.

• Over 70% of 12-year-olds have cellphones.

• Cellphones and tablets come to the user with NO FILTERS turned on by default. Only one state forces the filter on (HB72 Utah Cell Phone Law).

• Online book services may have filters, but by and large, these are easily bypassed.

Conclusion: Anyone can view everything that CleanBooks4Kids lists in her database.

How is that for depraved?
