Terry E. Cooper, 77

Terry E. Cooper, 77, lived in Hayden, Idaho, and lived there until passing. Terry passed unexpectedly July 22, 2024, at his home. He was born Oct. 16, 1946, in Payette, Idaho, to Van E. and Lillian O. (Collins) Cooper. He grew up in Fruitland, Idaho, and graduated from Fruitland High School, then went to Treasure Valley Community College for welding. 

Terry met and married Francis Jean Cooper, who passed from cancer in 1998 at the age of 52. He then later met and married Charolette (Aikin) Cooper in 2000 and was widowed again in 2019. 

He was a police officer for a short time in Ada County, then worked for the Idaho Department of Transportation doing maintenance, retiring after 35 years of service.

Terry enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and traveling. He and his wife, Charolette, were able to do a mega trip and traveled to several states before health slowed them down. Terry was a 32nd-degree Mason. 

He is survived by his two sons, Paul E. Cooper and Sean M. Cooper, four granddaughters, two grandsons and recently one great-granddaughter, four nephews and two nieces.
