Mark Spangler, 61
Mark Spangler was born Sept. 28, 1962, in Mountain Home, Idaho, and passed March 22, 2024, in Post Falls, Idaho. He was raised in Hammett, Idaho, and worked the family farm most of his life. He was known for his vibrant spirit and his love for adventure.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Louise (Balfour) Spangler, and father Vaughn Spangler. His sister, Sheila Spangler, passed away after Mark's death.
Mark had a zest for life, which was evident in his favorite hobbies. He was an avid drag racer, always chasing the thrill of speed. He had a strong love for Pontiacs. He also found solace and joy in boating and jet skiing, where he could feel the wind in his hair and the water beneath him. These passions brought him immense happiness and allowed him to fully embrace his adventurous side. However, above all else, Mark cherished his cats. They were not just pets to him; they were his children. Their unconditional love provided him with comfort and companionship throughout his life. Mark's devotion to his feline companions was truly heartwarming and showcased his caring nature.
Mark will be deeply missed by his family, friends and those who had the pleasure of knowing him. His infectious laugh, adventurous spirit and love for his cats will forever be remembered.
