Jim and Donna Runge

60th Anniversary

Jim and Donna (Hamlet) Runge celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary Aug. 15. They were married in the First Presbyterian Church in Coeur d’Alene. Donna had just graduated from the University of Idaho and Jim returned from three years in the Army and was working at the family business Runge Furniture.

Both Jim and Donna were raised in Coeur d’Alene and were lucky to remain and raise their three daughters: Teresa (Steve James), Trina (Rodney Wecker) and Teri (Ryan Nipp). They have seven wonderful grandchildren.

Jim retired from Runge Furniture and Runge Finance and Donna retired from North Idaho College as a licensed counselor. Their lives are active with family, hiking, traveling the world and spending summers on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene.
