UPDATE: Crews put out small brush fires along I-90 near state line

UPDATE: The "all clear" was given out by the Washington State Department of Transportation
East as of 1:55 p.m.

Spokane Valley Fire Department is responding to two separate brush fires along I-90 between Liberty Lake and State Line. Drivers are advised to expect slowdowns near Starr Road just west of the state line, as the right lane and ramp to the weigh station are both blocked by fire crews. The fire in this area appears to be under control at this time.
