FIREWORKS: Should be illegal all the time

Kudos to Terry and Connie Montanye for their letter published Aug. 4 concerning your editorial about illegal fireworks. And a high five for publishing your editorial in the first place.  

I agree with the Montanye’s about your 11:00 illegal “curfew.” Why? It’s illegal anytime. I would like to think that police are doing as you purpose “poised to write tickets left, right and center” the whole fireworks season.

Has your paper interviewed (or sought one) with Sheriff Norris on the subject? Perhaps so and I missed it. I’d very much like to see what he has to say.
