Community members and music appreciators, mark your calendars for these upcoming events with the Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra.

Concert in the Park for Labor Day
Sept. 2 | Noon, Rotary Band Shell, Coeur d'Alene City Park.
Celebrate Labor Day with the symphony at a no-cost concert in the park. Enjoy an afternoon of beautiful music and community spirit. Bring friends, family and picnic blankets for a concert under the open sky.

Saturday with the Symphony
Sept. 14 | 11 a.m., Coeur d'Alene Public Library, 702 E. Front Ave.
The Coeur d’Alene Symphony invites children and families to immerse themselves in the world of music during Saturday with the Symphony, a monthly musical extravaganza that introduces the youngest members of the community to the rich and diverse world of music.

Charitable Giving Night at Bardenay Restaurant and Distillery
Sept. 16 | 5-9 p.m., Bardenay, 1710 W. Riverstone Drive, Coeur d'Alene. The Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra will receive 20% of the pre-tax sales receipts for food and beverages. 

Season Kickoff Concert: Celebrating Our Homelands
Oct. 5 | 7:30 p.m. Schuler Performing Arts Center, North Idaho College, 880 W. Garden Ave., Coeur d'Alene. The concert season begins with "Celebrating Our Homelands." The overarching theme for the season is "Celebrating Community."

The nonprofit Coeur d'Alene Symphony Orchestra has been creating music in the North Idaho region since 1980. Its vision is to explore music as the universal language of communication and understanding through musical excellence, innovative programming, and ever- evolving greatness for current and future audiences.

The symphony is led by Music Director Danh Pham and Assistant Conductor Phil Baldwin.
