Notice of Advertisement for Prequalification for Wastewater Treatment System Improvements for Kingston-Cataldo Sewer District Kingston-Cataldo Sewer District is prequalifying licensed public works contractors who are interested in bidding on the Kingston Sewer Treatment Improvements project pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-2805(2)(b). The project generally consists of constructing lagoon storage ponds and land application system to serve the Kingston-Cataldo Sewer District. The project also includes lift station and force main, irrigation control building, and access improvements. Actual bid quantities may change pending final design of the project. The estimated project cost is between $5,000,000 and $7,000,000. The project is anticipated to be bid in November 2024 and construction must be completed prior March 2026. The main construction window for the project will be May 2025 through March 2026. KMPO 2025-2031 Transportation Improvement Program Notice of Availability and Public Comment Period A draft of the Kootenai Metropolitan Planning Organization’s (KMPO) seven-year Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) 2025-2031 is now available for public review and comment. The TIP is a multi-year funding program document that lists federally and non-federally funded transportation improvements proposed by local jurisdictions, highway districts, Kootenai County, Idaho Transportation Department during the next six years. This document and review period includes Kootenai County’s 2025 Program of Projects (POP) using Federal Transit Administration’s Section 5307 funding to support of public transportation activities in the Coeur d’ Alene-Post Falls Urbanized area.
