PRESIDENTIAL PERFORMANCE: A tale of two presidents

| August 7, 2024 1:00 AM

Reply to J. W. Vance and Dennis Keim Letters in Sunday’s Press on Aug. 4:

There couldn’t have been a more opposite view on Biden’s and Trump’s character, values, and performance. I ask myself simply: is our country better off now under Biden or Trump’s presidency? Therefore, it is obvious I must agree with Mr. Vance.

Mr. Keim talks about the lack of Trump’s family values. Let’s take a refresher on Biden’s values: on day one his executive order to have the border wide open resulting in massive amounts of fentanyl coming across our borders resulting in the deaths of thousands of our youth, vicious crimes on American citizens especially our young women, families struggling to buy groceries/gas and to pay their rent. In addition, look at the debacle withdrawing our troops in Afghanistan resulting in American and Afghanistan deaths and the wars raging around the world currently. On top of it all look at the cover up on Biden’s diminished mental capacity these past 3.5 years. It was obvious to myself and many other American citizens he wasn’t fit for the office of president of the United States. I believe the November election boils down to two choices: Socialism or Capitalism. Our great country thrives on Capitalism not the failures of Socialism. It’s obvious Biden doesn’t possess integrity, honesty or anything close to family values.
