Jim and Jennifer Custer
60th Anniversary
July 3, 2024
Jennifer met Jim in Spokane, his hometown, while she was skating with Ice Capades and playing at the Coliseum during Christmas. A year later, Jim joined the show and they married in 1964 in Phoenix, Ariz., Jennifer's hometown.
During their skating years, they purchased lake property on Lake Coeur d'Alene where they enjoyed their summer vacations. They continued skating and touring for five years before settling down in Spokane.
After their skating days, they continued to work together starting their business, Jim Custer Enterprises. They retired from the business in 2002 and now spend their time between their Lake Coeur d'Alene home and Palm Desert, Calif. Daughter Cheryl and husband Clint Branz now own and operate Jim Custer, Ent. Son Christopher and wife Amra live in Coeur d'Alene.
Jim and Jennifer will celebrate with family.
Lance and Kathy Hubener
50th Anniversary
Lance and Kathy (Kathleen) Hubener celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at a banquet and a family reunion.
The couple were married in July 1974 in Lake Oswego, Ore., where they were "high school sweethearts." They moved to North Idaho in 1984, where they have resided since.
A banquet was held there with family and friends, including their matron of honor and a bridesmaid, with daughter Kelly leading a toast to the anniversary couple. Another celebration was at the Oregon coast with more relatives.

Lance and Kathy Hubener, 50th Anniversary
