TRUMP: He wants to create an autocracy
I’d like just a few words to address the Trump voters in North Idaho.
Out of the 33,000-plus lies this man has told the American people, out of the countless incidents of name-calling and insulting the many people Trump views as threats, one incident really stands out, which occurred a few days ago. This was at a rally sponsored by a far-right “Christian” organization in Florida, during which Trump encouraged the attendees to “Get out and vote … just this time. After that, you won’t have to vote anymore.”
So, I ask: What does this sound like to you? What do you think he means?
Please, for just one moment, abandon the what-aboutism, the blaming Biden for worldwide inflation and the border, and quit attacking Kamala Harris as a “socialist,” stop the name calling, and think.
Does it not sound like a plea to help create an autocracy in which voting no longer exists? It does to me. It also does to the rest of the world, even though in your eyes they don’t matter.
Donald is telling you what he wants to do, and we will ignore such comments at great peril.
Regardless of what you think of non-right-wing candidates, is this the kind of person that you think should lead the United States? Do you think a religion-based autocracy similar to that in Iran is what is best for America?
Which part of terminating voting rights is part of traditional conservative values? Who can answer this honestly?
