Move over, Christmas in July — it's Halloween in August

Christmas in July, you've met your match.
Halloween is coming early this year as Crime Scene Entertainment hosts its inaugural Summerween event at 4 p.m. Aug. 10 at 1207 N. Fourth St., Coeur d'Alene.
The creative minds at Crime Scene Entertainment, a local murder mystery dinner party event company, are combining summer with their favorite holiday — Halloween.
The free event will serve as a customer appreciation party. All contests will be free. Some activities will require tickets that can be purchased for $1 each.
Activities will include cornhole, arcade games, pool, a costume contest for ages 0-14, 15 and older individuals and 15 and older couples, a cake walk, a "booos walk" for 21 and older, an ax tournament, a candy corn pie contest, a showing of "Night of the Living Dead" for those 15 and older and more.
Food and beverages will be available for purchase.
