ANNIVERSARY: A candle for Randy, Cliff

Dear Mr. Mann,

I enjoyed reading your personal column in Tuesday’s Press. I want to give you a big Thank You! for being so steadfast and consistent over the past 20 years with your weather forecast, always getting it in by deadline, even when traveling on vacation and after having a heart attack! What? I don’t think we see that kind of work ethic too much these days.  

You are to be greatly commended. I am so sorry you lost your wife Sally, but happy to know that you have found love again with your wife Catherine. I hope you will be giving us your forecast for another 20 years.

Also, a big shout out and thank you to Cliff Harris, who at a time in life (early 80s) most people would be kicking back, he is still giving us his Weekly Weather Almanac, so keep it up Cliff!   

You both are models of good work ethics. We are so lucky to have both of you in our town.
