NOTICE OF ADVERTISEMENT PRE-QUALIFICATIONS FOR 2024 ASPHALT BASALT CHIP AND FOG SEAL CITY OF POST FALLS The City of Post Falls is seeking to pre-qualify general contractors for the 2024 Asphalt Basalt Chip and Fog Seal in the City of Post Falls, pursuant to Idaho Code 67-2805, “Procurement of Public Works Construction”. LEGAL NOTICE – SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE SANITARY SEWAGE PUMPS RATHDRUM, IDAHO LEGAL NOTICE - SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE: The City of Rathdrum, Idaho, pursuant to Idaho Code § 67-2808 (2) (a) (ii) and (viii), hereby publishes Notice of Intent to award a sole source purchase to Xylem Flygt for submersible sewage pumps, model NP 3153. Pump operating conditions are 347 gallons per minute at 106 feet head hydraulic efficiency or 60.5 percent. Minimum pump shutoff head must be 137 feet head. Pump system shall include an automatic sump cleaning system sump mixing valve (4901) functioning without power supply or a control system.  The manufacturer shall guarantee clog-free operation for a period of 24-months from date of startup. This award is based on the declaration of Rathdrum Public Works that Xylem Flygt is the only vendor reasonably available to provide the required purchase and is based on the grounds that “the compatibility of equipment, components, accessories, computer software, replace parts or service is the paramount consideration”, and “competitive solicitation is impractical, disadvantageous or unreasonable under the circumstances.” The purchases to be made are to be placed in the City’s new sanitary sewer lift station #4. Upon completion of this purchase, the City of Rathdrum’s, in its entirety, will utilize Millennium software and equipment.
