SHAWLS: Help close old wounds

I was really pleased to see the photo of the “Shawls in Solidarity” tribal ladies march, with the article in the Coeur d’Alene Press.

Ladies, thank you for taking the lead in a positive response by marching on Sherman Avenue where the incident of racial harassment took place March 21. This racial harassment opened up 20-year-old wounds caused by the Aryan Nations time that I lived through and fought against.

 I think that your Shawls in Solidarity march did start the healing process for Coeur d’Alene. Ladies, you are my heroes, each and every one.
