INCIDENT: How much coverage is enough?

How much press time do you give to two idiots in vehicles that shouted the “N” word? There is no question they are lowlifes, but to give them press time just encourages them. Now that it is front-page news, more people without any sense of decency will come.

By all the accounts and comments you would think we are a hotbed of racism. Sorry, I don’t see it. Could this just be a basketball thing, where the losing team could take out their frustration by shouting hurtful comments at them?

Curious, I tried to look up what the punishment for calling someone a derogatory word is, but could not find it. Without some sort of violence or physical action, is there a penal code section along with a punishment?

Oh yea, Brent Regan offering a $10,000 reward. Is he just trying to buy some goodwill? I am not a fan of KCRCC and him and what harm he has done to this community, just the college fiasco is one example. 

This $10,000 reward, is this his personal money or money that he chose to give from his many donors supporting KCRCC? Did his donors have a voice to do this?

Unfortunately there will always be idiots among us, but let’s not blow this out of perspective and give them more print.
