WSU's Jones selected for college all-star game today

GLENDALE, Ariz. — Washington State fifth-year senior Isaac Jones was selected to participate in the 2024 NABC-Reese’s College All-Star Game today (3:30 p.m., CBSSN) at State Farm Stadium.

Jones, an All-Pac-12 First Team selection, is the first Cougar selected to participate in the seniors-only event since Josh Hawkinson participated in the 2017 Division I College All-Star Game.

Jones was WSU’s leading scorer and rebounder, leading the Cougars to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2008. The Spanaway, Wash., senior averaged 15.3 points per game over the season, surpassing 1,000 career points, Feb. 17, in just two seasons of Division-I basketball. Jones, who played last year at Idaho and for two seasons at Wenatchee Valley College before that, shot the ball at a .575 clip, fifth in the Pac-12 and 33rd nationally.

He averaged 7.6 rebounds per game, fourth in the Pac-12, with 10 double-doubles, including the first NCAA Tournament double-double in school history.
