SHERMAN: A pox on Saturday business

To the abortion protesters and the Trump Train folks who make noise every Saturday on Sherman: 

We are trying to work and carry on with running our businesses.

To the abortion protesters — Nobody should have to hear you calling people simply walking down the sidewalk a "baby murderer" while attempting to carry out their work day. Abortion has been banned in Idaho for two years. Standing, as a man, behind a sign that reads OBEY GOD NOT MAN while you are literally yelling and verbally assaulting people and telling them what to do isn’t a good look for your cause.

Trump Train — Honking horns and engines revving is also disturbing downtown businesses. I’m all about freedom of speech and I respect the fact that you’re passionate about your beliefs in your candidate, however, your Dixie horns and disruption weekly is growing tiresome and infringing people’s rights to casually enjoy downtown without having to be subjected to an insane amount of noise and traffic issues. 

Please find a better outlet for your passion. Is disrupting the peace of local businesses really necessary or giving you a positive presence? Do better, folks. And maybe get a hobby.
