Kaufman, a fifth-year outside hitter from Lake City High, went over 1,000 career kills for the Wildcats in last Saturday's match, a 25-12, 23-25, 16-25, 25-14, 16-18 loss against Seattle Pacific in Seattle. "Ashley is the definition of hard work, and resiliency, so I am happy she's continuing to leave her legacy," Central Washington coach Mario Andaya said. Kaufman now has 1,009 kills for Central Washington, a Division II program in Ellensburg, Wash.

Currie, a senior from Lake City High, finished in a tie for third at the Corban Invitational at Pine Ridge Golf Course in Springfield, Ore., on Tuesday, shooting a 79-78—157, helping the Warriors to a runner-up finish.
