North Idaho Educators begin the year

North Idaho Retired Educators have their first meeting of the year Monday at 11 a.m. at JB's Restaurant on Appleway Avenue, Coeur d'Alene.

They invite all retired educators to attend and hope to get new retirees from any area school district.

The North Idaho group is a chapter of Retired Educators of Idaho, an affiliate of National Retired Teachers Association, www.idahoretirededucators.org.

The program will feature Don Drum, executive officer of PERSI, Idaho's Public Retirement System. The meeting will include welcoming visitors and returning members and an overview of upcoming programs.
