Gibson, a 5-foot-11, 180 pound senior running back, ran for 381 yards and four touchdowns in a 30-18 win over the Kellogg Wildcats in the Central Idaho League opener for both on Friday in St. Maries. “I’ve always told the boys the difference between a good and great running back is the ability to run after you’re hit,” St. Maries coach Greg Rouse said. “And Trey has that in spades. Plus, you can’t put up those kinds of numbers without some incredible blocking and our line did a fantastic job this week.”
