| September 16, 2023 1:15 AM

RATHDRUM — The Rathdrum Rumble car show will have enthusiasts revving their engines later this month.

North Idaho College's Autobody and Paint Technology program started the Rathdrum Rumble last year and will use funds from the event to send students to regional and national SkillsUSA competitions.

The car show takes place from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, at NIC’s Parker Technical Education Center at 7064 W. Lancaster Road in Rathdrum.

Vehicle categories include hot rod/modified, young builder, classic car, truck, import and motorcycle. There will also be hosted tours of the Parker Technical Education Campus for anyone interested in learning more about the program.

“This will be a great time for the whole family,” Trades and Industry Division Interim Chair Pat O’Halloran said. “There are some incredible cars to showcase in our community, many of which past and current NIC students had a hand in.”

The event is free and open to the public. To register your vehicle in the car show, visit nic.edu/rrumble. For information, contact Pat O’Halloran at 208-676-7145 or at Patrick.O'Halloran@nic.edu.
