GARCIA: Didn't do her homework before moving to Cd'A

| September 13, 2023 1:00 AM

In response to Juanita Garcia’s letter published 9/10. Perhaps it’s a parody.

First of all, I would never condone someone keying or egging a car because of it’s out of state plates. And I am positive the vast, vast majority people around here feel the same. If she had registered her car in Idaho as the law requires that should have only been two or three weeks of such torment.

Juanita, why did you move in the first place? Easy to have found out that there are four seasons here. Yes, it comes with hot summers, snowy winters and absolutely gorgeous springs and falls. I read where that nearly 1/3 of the time it’s foggy in San Francisco. Guess you miss those days. Smoke, yep that’s bad, I concur. But you can always wear those masks you so missed during COVID.

If you are willing to put up with the homeless living on the sidewalks (watch where you step when you go downtown, if you go downtown,) unfettered crime and drug use and companies moving out of the city due to lawlessness then you should leave this hell-hole. Tell your friends why you left here but let them know they are welcome if they don’t mind low crime, clean streets and individual freedom.

Congrats, BTW, you get to vote for Nancy again.

And do me a favor, write the SF Chronicle and tell them about the horrid conditions up here.
