A MESS: Of his own making

| September 3, 2023 1:00 AM

Donald Trump has dared, taunted, provoked and goaded our Department of Justice to prosecute him from the moment it was learned he had stolen our country's national security documents. The former president could have skirted the federal prosecution and charges up and until his indictment by just returning the documents. After a year and one half he finally succeeded in forcing DOJ prosecutor Jack Smith's appropriately reluctant hand, giving the Department of Justice no choice, lest the former president make a mockery of the Constitution and our country's rule of law.

"May the most prestigious among us equally experience Justice so we all may learn."
