Special NIC meeting set for Sept. 6

COEUR d’ALENE — North Idaho College trustees will convene next week for a policy subcommittee special meeting to address board policies.
The meeting is scheduled for Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. in the Driftwood Bay Room in the Edminster Student Union Building on NIC’s main campus. The public can attend in person or watch remotely via Zoom.
On the agenda are four discussion items that were previously tabled during the board’s regular August meeting. The items concern the following board policies: board general conduct, new board member orientation, code of ethics and presidential performance review.
There will be no public comment period. The board typically allows public comment only during regular monthly meetings, not special meetings.
