Notes: Coeur d’Alene, with state medalists (top 20 finishers) Max Cervi-Skinner (third), Lachlan May (fourth), Zack Cervi-Skinner (11th), Jacob King (13th) finished third in last year’s meet at the Lewis-Clark State Course in Lewiston Orchards … Lachlan May of Coeur d’Alene holds the fastest time in the state among the 5A boys at 15:00.4 at the Battle for the 509 … Heemeyer won the boys race in 14 minutes, 38.79 seconds … Coeur d’Alene sophomore Olivia May finished sixth as a freshman … Boise has won five straight girls team titles dating back to 2018.

Notes: Barnhart, a senior, is aiming to be Timberlake’s first two time champion since Frank Langrimanta (2005, 2006) after winning last year’s race … Barnhart was 16th as a freshman in Pocatello in 2020 … Sugar-Salem has won five of the last six girls team titles … Coeur d’Alene Charter’s girls finished fourth last year .. Sugar-Salem had a seven-year run of boys titles ended by Kimberly last year in Lewiston.

Notes: Peak, who was seventh at state last year, currently holds the fourth fastest time in 2A at 16:26.
