Hip-hop party tonight to benefit young patient

An old-school hip-hop party to benefit a young patient with a rare genetic disorder will be at 6 tonight at Cruisers Bar and Grill in Post Falls.

Gabriel Holbert, 9, was born with megacystis microcolon intestinal hypoperistalsis syndrome, which disrupts the function of certain tissues in the body. He has also developed other conditions because of the disease and medications.

Admission is $20. The evening will include dancing and dinner.

All proceeds from the party will go to Gabriel's mother to support his recent hospitalization.
